Who is Brandon Raub?
Brandon Raub is a former US Marine who posted the following on his FACEBOOK page
America has lost itself. We have lost who we truly are. This is the land of the free and the home of the brave. This is the land of Thomas Jefferson. This is the land of Benjamin Franklin. This is the land of Fredrick Douglas. This is the land of Smedley Butler. This is the land John F. Kennedy. This is the land of Martin Luther King. This is the land where the cowboy wins. This is the land where you can start from the bottom and get to the top. This is the land where regardless of you race and ethnicity you can suceed and build a better life for you and your family. This is the land where every race coexists peacefully. This is the land where justice wins. This is the land where liberty dwells. This is the land where freedom reigns. This is the land where we help the poor, and people help eachother. This is land where people beat racism.
The federal reserve is wrong. They have designed a system based off of gread and fear. They designed a system to crush the middle class between taxes and inflation. This is wrong, and it is unjust. It is wrong.
We have allowed ourselves to be devieced and seduced by the powers of the printing press. It is not a good system. It discourages saving: the foundation for all stable economic activity. The federal reserve is artificially manipulating interests rates and creating phony economic data. This thing has decieved our entire nation.
They created it 1913. They also created the income tax in 1913. They encouraged the growth of debt so they can tax you on it. There is interest on the debt. Your government is in bed with these people. They want to enslave you to the government so that they can control every aspect of your lives. It is an empire based on lies. They operate of greed and fear.
There is a better way. It’s called freedom. Freedom is called a lot of things. But there is a true meaning. It means very simply that you have the right to do whatever you want as long as you are not infringing on the feedoms of other people.
I firmly believe that God set America apart from the other nations of the world. He saved a place where people could come to to escape bad systems of goverment. This system we have created works. It really works.
There is evil going on all around the world. The United States was meant to lead the charge against injustice, but through our example not our force. People do not respond to having liberty and freedom forced on them.
Men and Women follow courage. They follow leadership, and courage. Our example has paved the way for people all around the world to change their forms of goverment.
Force is not the way because liberty is a powerful concept. The idea that men can govern themselves is the basis for every just form of government.
We can govern ourselves. We do not need to be governed by men who want to install a one world banking system. These men have machine hearts. Machine and unnatural hearts. They have blocked out the possibility of a better world. They fear human progress. They have monopolies on everything.
This life can be free and beautiful. There are enough resources on this earth to support the world’s population. There are enough resources on this earth to feed everyone. There is enough land for everyone to own their own land and farm, and produce their own energy.
These people have been hiding technology. There are ways to create power easily. There is technology that can provide free cheap power for everyone. There are farming techniques that can feed the entire world.
They are controlling your media. They have dumbed you down through your school systems. They have systematically dismantled the constitution. It is in rags.
The bill of rights is being systematically dismantled. Men have spilled their blood for those rights.
Your sons and daughters, your brothers and sisters, and Americas best young men and women are loosing their limbs. They are loosing their lives. They are loosing the hearts. They do not know why they are fighting. They are killing. And they do not know why.
They have done some extroadinary acts. Their deeds go before them. But these wars are lies. They are lies. They decieved our entire nation with terrorism. They have gotten us to hand them our rights. Our Rights! Men died for those rights!
September Eleventh was an inside job. They blew up a third building in broad daylight. Building 7.
Your leaders betrayed you.
You elected an aristocracy. They are beholden to special interests. They were brainwashed through the Council on Foreign Relations. Your leaders are planning to merge the United States into a one world banking system. They want to put computer chips in you.
These men have evil hearts. They have tricked you into supporting corporate facism. We gave them the keys to our country. We were not vigilant with our republic.
There is hope. BUT WE MUST TAKE OUR REPUBLIC BACK.
Brandon is currently being detained at John Randolph Psychiatric Hospital in Hopewell, Virginia

Everything Brandon says here is the truth. But truth has become the enemy in this new upside down America. In this world the media is not allowed to speak the truth. What the elite rulers do not want heard and seen is ignored, marginalized, as they have done to Ron Paul. So now anyone who speaks the truth will be called “crazy”: and locked away as an example to others? Truth is taboo?
The only value functioning at this time is GREED for power, control, and wealth.
It is time this nation and the world returned back to living by the values contained in the American Constitution. Brandon needs to be allowed to go home. He has done no wrong! And he is NOT crazy, as some imply, because they wish to silence him and silence the truth. This is the way of a fascist dictatorship, and this not the American way.
We the People Want Brandon Raub freed! This still is America and we will not tolerate this treatment of Americans, especially a vet who gave his life to fight for our freedoms! I hope there is a petition to free Brandon because I along with millions will sign it. Brandon, hang in there, we will get you out!!
There is nothing crazy about what he said. It is the same thing that we have all been thinking but nobody wants to say out loud. And this is exactly why, because our government has become so large and powerful that we fear them. And they will do whatever it takes to keep that power. You notice the mainstream media hasn’t said a word about the whole incident. The only way to stop this locomotive running us all over is for the citizens of this country to stand together united. One day it will come.

And tyranny is here. I don’t know if posts were removed but I went on this man’s Facebook page and found nothing that would lead me to believe he is dangerous. I was actually hoping to find something questionable because I didn’t want to believe something like this could happen.
Every American should be demanding from their Congress and Senators that this man be freed! This is the next step to tyranny and the enslavement of the American people! Obama can issue a criminal executive decree saying millions of illegal foreign criminals who rob and put American citizens in danger daily can remain in country and even be rewarded but a man who fought for his country can be arrested and detained without due process for his opinions! Everyone needs to standup to this wretch of a government NOW regardless of whether you agree with Brandon’s views or not. I can only wonder how many pitiful AmericanTs are afraid to even post a message because they are scared of the men in black. Well to them I can only say “wake up” because you should be a LOT more afraid of what will happen to you if you don’t stand up and demand Brandon’s freedom now. Brandon is a hero. He is a true American and a patriot in every possible sense of the word. I can only hope and pray there are millions more like him out there somewhere. If Brandon does not get his freedom and liberty back we are all as good as dead and there will be no freedom or liberty left for any of us nor for our children or our children’s children. I can easily put myself in his shoes. Although I don’t share my feelings on Facebook (I don’t believe in FB), and I don’t use violent imagery as metaphor, I share his concerns, and his predictions aren’t far off, given what I have observed of human behavior. It’s ironic but I think he understands human behavior better than his psychiatric imprisoners.

More cases like this and we’ll have crossed the rubicon into full tyranny. Actually, we’re already there, I’m afraid, so I hope the system collapses in a NON-VIOLENT puff before there’s more victims and more violence which I’d argue is a predictable response of and to government actions — the mass shootings of late are the canary in the coal mine for government repression which will boil over and will accelerate if there is a Fed-created economic collapse. Many are asking whether he’s the first victim of the NDAA, the most treasonous piece of legislation ever signed by a U.S. President (Obama), even though he was not arrested by the military nor was the NDAA invoked [though now he's being moved into a VA hospital]. It’s still the same. How convenient for the state, to have a monopoly on violence.
The government, the Fed, banks, think tanks, corporate media, etc., are trying to prevent the inevitable. I picture this as a set of slaves expending untold human energy in preventing the inevitable, as if a million slaves were compelled to defy the law of gravity, and died trying, in an apocalypse of human civilization. Why not just accept Mother Nature?
Thomas S. Szasz said almost 20 years ago, “There’s only so far you can push people” (paraphrasing from memory). Unfortunately I don’t see things changing soon. Corporate state media cries whenever a foreign state mistreats its citizens even slightly, but ignores the elephant in the living room. And thus while liberty collapses right in front of us, most are impervious, and would rather go back to their favorite TV show, like the parents of Harrison Bergeron.
Thank you for this amazing post! I couldn’t have said it better myself. These surely are the signs we were warned about. I’m not an anarchist, and I don’t speak out on FB or other social media quite like he did. But I agree completely with his opinions and his frustration. I personally choose to battle the machine with as much non violent non compliance as possible.
What is wrong with this picture? This man did not commit mass murder. He did not threaten to kill anyone, nor himself. He did not commit any crime. Yet he was kidnapped by the local police, with FBI assistance and committed to a mental institute. Despite having a legal team on his side, he is still being held against his will. What everyone knows he did is not grounds for his arrest (and he is under arrest if he is not free to go), so why hasn’t he been released? Someone is not telling the truth here. And while I would suspect it to be the government, I would also hope like hell it is not Brandon and/or his family. If this is truly legit, then we are all subject to these raids, and all of us had better be prepared.
I think this case should be getting at least the same amount of attention that the “Pussy Riot” case received.
If we’re all able to unite behind a few feminist punk rockers in Russia, I would think we can try to help a former Marine in the USA.

According to numerous opinions by SCOTUS on the Free Speech Clause of the 1st Amendment…
For this action by the FBI and other Federal & State Agency’s & Courts in Virgina and elsewhere to pass Constitutional muster it must pass the “imminent lawless action” test… the classic example cited being yelling FIRE falsely in a crowed movie theater…
Basically for the Governments actions in this matter to be legitimate they would have to demonstrate that Brandon was soliciting or inciting violence by others…
They have ruled numerous times that you can’t lock somebody up or arrest somebody for what they MIGHT DO…
This is a another prime reason why WE THE PEOPLE must lobby Congress to repeal the so-called Patriot Act & NDAA of 2012 … National Defense Authorization Act of 2012… which really tramples fundamental liberty as we know it…

Sending my thoughts and prayers to Brandon’s family at their time of crisis. I was able to make a small donation, not much but I am happy to give what I can. I hope that they able to find justice for their son, and that he can be released from the facility as soon as possible.
What has happened here is not the first and will certainly not be the last. This was just done almost a year ago to an older gent who had a you tube space just for prepping. Same senario, and in labeling him mentally unfit he then had his weapons confiscated and he has no rights as an american as he is now mentally unfit. This I am afraid is how they are looking to go about this. At least try on a few to see if it sticks. If it works then its a go, isn’t it? We as a nation have to stand for what is right not what the government says is right at the time, expecting us to follow blindly. I am hoping that what we have is not another civil war on our hands as there was allot of bloodshed in the first one. STOP AND THINK !! LEARN FROM THIS !! Brandon is vulnerable because some of his posts could be taken and twisted into being perceived as condoning violence. Remember Dr. Martin Luther King and his teachings of non-violence .. Dr. King taught us how to avoid what is happening to Brandon. We can help Brandon by using non-violent protest. He should not be detained without due process of law. Even if he is suspected of being a danger to society, he should be charged with something before he can be detained against his will.
